A Leitrim environmental group says it’s extremely worried at plans that could lead to fracking in Co Fermanagh.
Tamboran Resources has applied for a licence to evaluate the natural gas in the shale and sandstone rocks in the southwest of the county.
The company last attempted to carry out test-drilling in 2014, but there was widespread opposition.
In 2017, a historic Bill to ban onshore fracking in the Republic of Ireland passed through the Oireachtas.
