Before the election, Labor made important promises for a moratorium on unconventional gas. They clearly committed to a public inquiry prior to ‘any fracking activity’ being allowed, including any exploration activities. They also agreed to give Traditional Owners in The Kimberley the legal right to say NO, and that they’d ban fracking outright in the South West, Peel and Perth Metro area.
Hundreds and hundreds of emails have been sent, now it’s time for phone calls. Let’s keep the pressure up until WA Labor implement what they’ve promised.
